Curator's Walk

Date: 3 September 2019
Details: starting at the Zoo Carpark, Brooklands at 10.30am sharp (wet or fine). Kristian Davies will talk about how the team manages the herbaceous borders at Brooklands and will last around 90 minutes.

Following the Curators Walk we will be hosting our annual Friends of the Park Annual Lunch.

 

FRIENDS OF THE PARK MEMBERS ANNUAL LUNCHEON: 12 noon at the Bellringer Pavilion.

This is a great opportunity to join with Friends of the Park members over a relaxed lunch. Cost $20 per person for a light lunch of soup, rolls and dessert followed by tea/coffee.

Numbers are required for catering purposes, so please RSVP to Julie Hunt puponga@xtra.co.nz by 30 August.

 

 

The Gables Volunteer Gardening Group

Each Thursday 9am - 11am we meet at The Gables and work in the beautiful perennial borders and garden beds that surround the building. Many hands make light work and no gardening experience required. Tools provided.

 

Wanderers' walks

Leave from the Bellringer Pavilion at 10.30am- 12 noon every 3rd Monday unless an alternative starting point is advised (watch Midweek).


The Curator's walks.

take place every 1st Tuesday of the month, leaving from the same venue.


The monthly evening meetings

With a speaker and supper will take place at the Citizens' Advice Bureau rooms near the YMCA on Liardet Street. These meetings are held from 7pm on the 4th Thursday monthly.
