Images of the Park

Welcome to the Friends’ photographic collection.

This community inspired image gallery is designed to showcase the diversity, ecology and features of Pukekura Park, Brooklands Park and the surrounding Reserve areas.

This gallery will expand with images from the different seasons, along with specialist topics – the first of which relates to the ornithology of the Park.

Images of the Park is edited and managed by professional photographer, Derek Hughes.

We invite you to share your Images of the Park through this gallery.

Submit a specific photo or photographic portfolio for inclusion in Images of the Park by sending either a high quality glossy print(s) or a medium resolution digital image to Derek Hughes for consideration:

Images should be captioned, dated and include the photographer’s name. An indication of the location within the Park is also required. Please note that submitted photographs will NOT be returned. The Photographic Editor will determine whether or not your photo is displayed.
